Fundraising & Development Manager

Would you enjoy working closely with colleagues in a busy independent, accredited museum to achieve ambitious goals to further develop a thriving museum? Do you have experience of successful fundraising in a not-for-profit organisation including achieving and managing support and grants from individuals, trusts and businesses?

The Centre for Computing History is looking for a highly organised, passionate, and motivated Fundraising & Development Manager to drive forward our fundraising activities and growth.

Working within a small team at the museum, the role of Fundraising & Development Manager offers an opportunity to have a significant impact on the work we do and on our development into the future.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrable interest and previous experience in fundraising within the charity sector. Previous work with museums and/or science-based learning organisations would be an advantage as would existing local connections. We are seeking an adaptable communicator who can advocate for the museum; you must have strong interpersonal skills that can be tailored to suit a variety of supporters, funders and stakeholders and a collaborative approach so you can work closely with colleagues.

Hours: 21 hours per week, ideally worked Weds-Fri but flexibility can be offered for the right candidate, as can some remote working.
Salary: £32,000-£38,000pa (pro rata).
